Yeah, only differences are checking the change lever every time you check the safety (on the rear LHS), the gas stoppage, and the forward assist (give the cocking handle a whack to make sure the bolt is fully forward). Did you not have an LSW in cadets (we did until Iraq started and they took it off us, tossers!! Let us keep the SUSAT tho', which conveniently found it's way onto my rifle for ex - advantages of playing armourer!!).

Drill don't know, we always did it with the GPs.

oh i yeah forgot about that. Am surprised i forgot about that one n all after me det. commander literally drilled it in me head. I dont see the point in it personally as i never had a problem

Game Plan:

Weapons specialist in Royal Marines (Assualt Engineer, Small Arms etc)


Question?

Do you think after being in the RM with these specialisations I could train people, such as bodyguards in the United States, or train special forces etc in the US as well?
Birmingham is not the black-country and we do not all speak like the yam-yams:)
