always wondered can pathfinder selection be likened to sas selection, and would being a pathfinder be a good way to judge if your good enough for the sas

I was watching the weakest link the other night and one of the questions was "Which former Liberal Democrats Leader served in the Special Boat Service?" Paddy Ashdown was the answer.
