I know I'm dredging this one up from the past, but I'm hoping that somebody can shed a bit more light on this.

Does anybody know what type of yoga these blokes did? I know somebody who's pretty messed up over something traumatic that happened to him. If I can find out what type of yoga would be ...

Does he look anything like this fella?

Same name, wants to be a stuntman & mentions joining the Royal Marines over a year ago. Compare the picture to the on-screen and it may be him

That's the guy! I bet he has to fight off the sausage with a ...

Commando on The Front Line - Recruit Adam Collins

I was just wondering if anybody knows whether or not he passed out? I missed the first run of these programs but have been watching them this time. So far it's up to the point where he's been backtrooped and has made a complaint about being bullied by the training team.

He seems pretty determined ...

Good on you mate, go for it. I always think if I don't try I'll spend the rest of my life wondering "what if?" and will kick myself when I get past 32 and am too old to ever find out.
If I try and fail/decide it's not for me then at least I'll know I wasn't cut out to be a bootneck and can hopefully ...

It does appear that the unfortunate gentleman has some form of ribcage malfunction.

Srb23, unless you're REALLY out of shape (i.e. an obese smoker) it shouldn't take you anywhere near 18 months to get fit enough for the PRMC, as long as you're willing to push yourself.

You need commitment and a decent diet. As others have said, for the Marines you need to get good at running ...

Re: Underestimated Or Low Self Confidence?

Well today I had my PRMC brief and while it solidified the fact that the ball is rolling and my career has just begun, I have been left with a sense of doubt within myself.

I got to meet the two other lads who I shall be (read: hopefully) going on my PRMC with. It became instantly obvious that I ...

Everyone knows a moderate Muslim or two. The bottom line for me, though, is that Islam as a whole is not a moderate pholosophy. I say this based not on traditional Islam, but on the way that Islam is being implemeted today. And the fact is that the top dog (Ayatollah) for the World's Islam is in ...

its what you make of it, the RI's will help you as long as you wanted to be helped, after that they'll try and get you binned. I spent over a year i believe in there with knee trouble but tried everything, the stuff i learnt and revised whilst in there made me pass out as a better Marine than i ...

Hunter Troop

If you find yourself in Hunter troop during RT, are you pretty much f*cked or are there many recruits who return to a normal troop and get their lid?

I've heard some massively contradictory stories about what Hunter troop is all about- some say that they'll do everything they possibly can to get ...

Re: Politicians.... bahhhh!

In my experience Commandos are anything but dense. They are driven and make clear and concise decisions.

On the other hand politicians tend to sit on the fence and are obtuse for fear of losing their position on the gravy train which they also seem so often to abuse.

I know who I would trust when ...
