I have my RMR selection weekend on the 7th of sept.
I am seriously considering joing the regulars would anyone know if it will be too late for me to change my apllication?

Dates for the recruits

Im on the selection weekend on sept 7th-9th from birmingham det. I woinder if anyone knows the new weekend commitment dates...i was given a list of weekends. But this has changed as the commitment is now every third weekend!

i have booked a holiday based on the old dates...can someone fill me in?

Hello everyone...happy easter hols!

I wanna know what the situation is with transfering to the regulars once you pass out with the Reserves?
How long would it take and?
Do you need to go through more training or do they simply let you shift into the full time role?

Sounds great, cant wait for troop to begin.

The holding troop is feb, and the selection weekend is not untill sep, so ive a long time training with holding troop. My fitness is of a high level already but i know they are gonna keep pushing me further anyway, so i intent to put everything into every ...

Well...

i've done the eye test, handed it in and got my interview within a week.

They asked about all my immediate family background. Jobs, relationships, what we all do together.

They asked about my personal attributes and acheivments from school. All about my working life in detail from ...

Right..

Interview passed with what seemed like considerable ease. Just my medical now and holding troop till septembers selection weekend.

Thanks for the advice, it helped a great deal.

I have my final interview with the AFCO in the morning,

any tips people can give me would be great as im not the best interviewee in the world.
shirt and tie?
How much history of the marines will they ask?
How much detail about my work and family?

I am attending the Birimngham presentation on tue 12th dec,
i am simply wondering will i need to have all my applications filled out ready for this?
